The Aruka Story

Renewing Minds. Restoring Lives.

Aruka Centre was born from a deep conviction that healing the mind is the first step to transforming lives. We exist to make quality mental health care accessible, compassionate, and relevant across homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.

About Us

Born from a Conviction That Healing Minds Transforms Lives

Aruka Centre was born from a deep conviction that healing the mind is the first step to transforming lives. Founded with the mission to make quality mental health care accessible, compassionate, and relevant, Aruka stands at the intersection of psychology, wellness, and human connection.

We believe that mental health is everyone’s business. Whether in our homes, schools, or workplaces, emotional wellbeing shapes how we live, learn, and lead. At Aruka, we create safe spaces where individuals, families, and organisations can rediscover balance and purpose.

Our services have evolved over the years to reflect the growing and diverse needs of our community. From General Counselling and Therapeutic Interventions to Workplace Mental Health Programmes and Psychological Assessments, each service is designed with empathy, professionalism, and care.

In 2025, Aruka took a bold step forward with the launch of the Student Assistance Programme (SAP) — among a select few in Africa combining premium, evidence-based support with scalable school-based intervention, formal assessment, and evaluation services. The SAP reflects our belief that early emotional support can change the trajectory of a child’s life.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple promise: to renew minds and restore lives. Every session, every programme, and every partnership is guided by compassion, confidentiality, and a commitment to quality care.

Aruka Centre is not just a mental health facility — it is a movement toward a more understanding, emotionally intelligent, and mentally healthy Africa.
